Where Do Kids Fit In?
Children fit into the life of First Baptist Church of Morganton through caring ministries designed just for them. From the Nursery to Sunday School to Children’s Church, kids are welcomed, taught, and encouraged as they discover what it means to follow Jesus.
Sunday School
Our Children’s Sunday School helps kids learn about the Bible and grow in their faith in a fun, engaging way. Children from Pre-K through 5th grade meet together for Bible stories, activities, and conversations that help them understand who Jesus is and how to follow Him. We are working toward having separate classrooms in the future to better support each age group.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church provides a fun, meaningful worship experience designed just for kids. After the Children’s Sermon in worship, children ages four through 5th grade are invited to Children’s Church. During this time, they enjoy Bible stories, activities, and simple lessons that help them learn about Jesus in a fun and meaningful way. Children’s Church gives kids a place to grow in their faith and connect with others their age.
Nursery
Our Nursery provides a safe, loving place for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old to play, learn, and feel cared for while their families worship. We have trained childcare workers that create a peaceful, welcoming environment where every child is valued and every parent feels confident their little one is in good hands.
