Local Missions Group
The Local Missions group sponsors an all day missions event each September called Mission Morganton. To learn more, please visit the Mission Morganton page.
The Local Missions Group initiates and coordinates mission activities in Morganton and Burke County.

- The Ecumenical class has been delivering firewood to the needy in the community through BUCM. The wood is typically delivered on the 4th Saturday each month during cold weather.

Ramp Building Project
Skilled members of First Baptist teamed up with members of El Bethel and Foothills Service Project to build a ramp at Arney’s Chapel Methodist Church on March 23rd. Thank you to all of of the hard workers for investing your time and effort towards doing God's work!
2023 SouperBowl of Caring
Thank you FBCM for donating to the Souper bowl of caring to help meet the needs of those in our community! The youth had an amazing time in fellowship and serving the Lord through sorting food.
2022 School Supplies Donation Drive
The 2022 School Supplies Donation Drive was a huge success!
Over $2000 worth of school supplies have been given to four local schools in need.
